From the beginning, the founder of Humans in the Loop, Iva Gumnishka, understood the important role in creating positive change and wholeheartedly embraced the challenge of meeting AI humans-in-the-loop needs and conflict-affected communities.
The story of humans in the loop started six years ago with the vision to support conflict-affected communities in earning their livelihoods in a dignified way.
We are a social enterprise, with the goal of providing work opportunities to those who need it the most as an alternative to the reliance on humanitarian aid. We are building the next generation of professional humans in the loop from conflict-affected regions and communities. We promote AI which is diverse and bias-free and we support projects that apply AI for social good.
We demonstrated our unwavering commitment to social responsibility and sustainability through a comprehensive evaluation of our governance, environmental practices, employee policies, community engagement, and more.

Our journey toward becoming a B Corp has been filled with dedication, perseverance, and a shared belief in the power of business to make a difference. It started in 2022, throughout the certification process, we worked closely with B Corp, to identify opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint, enhance our community engagement efforts, and further align our supply chain with ethical sourcing practices.
As a certified B Corp, we aim to use our business as a force for good and drive meaningful change in the areas that matter most. From implementing sustainable practices within our operations to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, we are committed to making a positive impact every step of the way.
